It all started with a VERY late airport trip with the kiddo to pick her up.

Of course we had to find some benches to sit on to give them time to catch up a bit, and make the kid stop bouncing.
They were dressed to match!
The next day consisted of a day-long trek through Heritage Park. We mostly rode rides, the kid LOVED the Ferris wheel, much to my heart attack. He declared he wanted to ride it 4 times… Yeah… he got two rides before we shuffled him along to something else.

After two years and 5 trips up here to visit, Gammie has FINALLY seen the infamous hot Alberta weather.

After many hours of walking in the blazing sun, I walked away with a monster sunburn. My first one in over 5 years.
