Embarrassing Ammo

Yes, I am going to be one of THOSE mothers.

You know the ones I’m talking about. The ones with the piles of every little thing her kids have done, ESPECIALLY the horrifyingly embarrassing ones.

And just an example of some the photos I have in possession, a few I took today when the kid decided to be goofy.

Gammie Visit Part 2

Well Mom has exited Calgary, and should soon be landing in Texas.

We actually had more pretty weather than bad for once. Except Jelly Bean decided to play Typhoid Mary and get us all sick. So that meant no Edmo trip to visit the new baby niece, Echo. But we did send up a nice box full of clothes, yay us!

One of the things we HAD to do while Mom was here was the Telus Science Centre because the Lego exhibit was about to leave. Oh man, talk about happy kid. Legos are probably his favorite thing.

Course not everything we did was “educational”, most of it wasnt.

The kiddo of course came out with some new clothes, which he needed.

Of course the hams got a smidge spoiled. Pokey was gifted with a new cage, geared towards his weird need to waddle his chubby ham-butt a lot.

He sleeps in a ball!

*My big thing from Mom was a new camera, London Drugs was having a sale, and this thing is AWESOME. I’m going to have an affair with it.

Gammie Visit 2010 Part One

It all started with a VERY late airport trip with the kiddo to pick her up.

Of course we had to find some benches to sit on to give them time to catch up a bit, and make the kid stop bouncing.

They were dressed to match!

The next day consisted of a day-long trek through Heritage Park. We mostly rode rides, the kid LOVED the Ferris wheel, much to my heart attack. He declared he wanted to ride it 4 times… Yeah… he got two rides before we shuffled him along to something else.
