My appointment with the eye surgeon went a bit better than I hoped. Especially considering I was so sure that he was going to order my face sliced open that day for emergency surgery.
But not today!
Yeah…
Hes ordered a CT-Scan and an Optic X-Ray (I forget the exact term for it), and once those tests are done, I will know what exactly is going to happen.
I hope.
The night before was a terrifying experiance, which involved a nice crying breakdown of truly cowardly amounts.
I threw a tantrum over the idea of going, yeah, I was that scared. It seems that each time I see a doctor lately its something awful and bizarre.
I do feel a bit relieved, a bit of research into this surgeon reveled that he is VERY skilled, I actually saw one of his patients in the waiting room, who had surgery about two weeks ago, and the facial scarring is minimal.
It was a huge weight lifted off, since I was very terrified of having horrible facial scarring. I aint that pretty, but the bits of my face are fairly nice, and I want to keep them that way.
I didnt realize just how vain I was until the terror of horrible facial scars hit me.
But, I will truck on I guess, now that its not AS scary.
Now I just have to wait for Mr. Crankypants to hurry up with reinstalling Photoshop on my machine, I have a pile of sketches that need to scanned and finished.

Thats only slightly expanded from the truth.
Jan seems to have been the month of constant going.
There was a rush of newly purchased furniture, which required me to move back into the office… And its definately not as lonely (or moldy) as it was when we first moved in.
The kiddo now has a guinea pig, her name is Sophie, and she is the quietest freakin piggie I’ve ever been around.
I fell on the ice, twice in one day, a few weeks back, and pretty much messed up my back and knee, so that threw me out of my Wii Fit routine, which I plan on getting back into. So I do feel a smidge bad about that, since it was definately helping me out in more ways than one.
Nearing completion on the first painting in a set of comissions, which is freakin awesome.
My eyesight is… well… I am adjusting more, and with new glasses (Dolce and Gabbana frames at that) I’m not as prone to headaches and frustration as I was, which is a good sign obviously.
Right now I kinda want a nap…

I started baking bread, using a simple recipe. The results have been very pleasing so far.
The Banana Bread was yummy, if still a smidge doughy. The Blueberry Bread I made yesterday is AMAZING, the kiddo is going nuts over it.
After 14 Days of Wii Fit (really 3 weeks counting the holidays and us being out of town) I have lost about 7 pounds. I rather like that, there are results coming out of it, and I finally nailed down my routine. Hopefully it will help me in the long run.
I also have been WAY watching what I eat, if I feel like snacking, I drink more water, and I switched to diet soda for my ONE glass of caffeine a day. I already feel less hungry all the time.
CttC and OHC have both returned officially with new strips. And I am working towards finishing the strips early. Friday’s strip is half drawn, and I really like it so far. Wensday is going to have a new Epic CttC Character on OHC, and its my fave so far.
Wensday I have my appointment with the specialist about Odin, yes, I am pretty nervous about this. He could decide that I need to have eye surgery, which will probably put me out of comission for a few weeks… And I worry about going nuts from boredom.
I’ll try to keep everyone updated on what the doc says, and everything else. Its just… wow sometimes I am glad for zoloft and sleeping pills.

No, really. It was a circus!
The holidays at Jelly Bean’s Mother’s place was fun, exhausting, and a bit crazy.
After 3 hours in a truck with limited leg-room, we were bombarded with children, who REALLY wanted to open presents.
Let the chaos commence!

Waiting for Presents

Chaos!
Seriously, these kids tore into things so fast that photos were missed, but I doubt they cared.

Popcorn, the only thing Mr. E cared about.

Buried in Toys
Course there was one gift that Jmonster was most excited about, that he had asked and hoped for, pestering us for weeks over it.

A Giant Red Car!
Once all of the gifts were opened, the kiddos wanted to PLAY, and who better to ask to open boxes, than Uncle Wayne, the master of awesome toys!

He also helps with transformers!
Course, poor Jelly Bean was just tired out, after opening gifts, helping the kiddos play with said gifts, eating, and putting everyone to bed. He just wanted to snuggle!

Though he snuggled Harley the Dog.
~The rest of our trip will be talked about later, I am TIRED!~
